Thank you! what a joy to see Gary's beautiful art again. He truly blessed my life with his kindness, hospitality and humor! We did a series of political spoof post cards about (then Pres) Regan's "trickle down theory"! Hilarious fun! I photgraphed Gary posing as Pres Reagan in a Regan rubber mask all over Seattles's Belltown and skid road area!! He posed in food bank lines etc. I'll try to find a set and send them to you! Good luck with your new venture!! God Bless! Jai RAM!! K

What a wonderful tribute to and for Gary! He was among the very first friends I made when I moved to Seattle some thirty plus years ago now. I fondly recall many "early on" gatherings with wonderful culinary delights and enormous amounts of time spent talking about design, more design and then again, almost always about the visual delights that graphic and the other arts can provide! Actually my first invitation to a party was at his place and there was an enormous energy with all those who were included with our mutual zest and zeal to make the most of "art" no matter the medium, all in our youthful view of making the most of life! May he ever be in PERFECT PEACE . . . and how gracious a friend he was and how greatly did he model for the rest us about being one's "complete and true self" on this our mutual earthly journey. With gratitude for one whose trusting friendship made for a "better all of us" . . . May his eternal gifts carry on! 07/03/09

I grew up most of life just a block down from the church, where my mom still lives. I would walk by that church everyday as a little girl to play with friends and later as a young girl on my way to work at the Rexall Drug and the movie theater for years. And every time I would daydream about someday being able to renovate that church with the same concept of having it be for all so everyone would see how beautiful it is.

My mom sent me the link last night and the story of your brother, the love and respect you have for him and the creativity you all have is inspiring and heartwarming.

Thank you. I look forward to coming home to see this dream of yours come to life.

I was a member of St. Stephen's having moved here from Michigan in 1974 and coming from a large Episcopal church. I became the organist shortly after arriving due to the need for one and my husband and I and our family of 3 children were very involved with St. Stephen's for 18 years. Two of our daughters were married in St. Stephen's. I am thrilled with the plans you have for the restaurant and wish you only the very best in this endeaver.

Ron and David, what a great gift you are giving to Gary. He would have been so thrilled and touched by your thoughts and actions. He is still a guiding angel in my life. I hope to make it back to Spencer to dine in this fun establishment. Looking forward to seeing you both. Connie
